Cladding to front of house

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.41 PM

At the front of the house between the downstairs lounge and upstairs bedroom, there is an area that sounds hollow in structure with a external plastered finish.I require this area to be improved upon to give better insulation to the inside of the house. I am not sure of my options although neighbors have had it uPVC cladded which I don't particularly like. Can anyone give me any ideas of options available,Not sure if I am asking correct trade??

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

There are insulation boards available that can be attached to the exterior wall, and are then covered with a mesh and render finish. A visual inspection of the area would need to be done to determine if just that area alone could be done or if the whole wall would need to be done to give a pleasing finish to the property.
