running water supply for washing machine behind freestanding cooker

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.43 PM

When fitting a new kitchen. If I put a washing machine on the end and there is a freestanding gas cooker between the washing machine and the water supply, can i run the water pipe behind the cooker or is that ill advised/ against regulation. The gas supply will be run around the skirting board to the cooker, can the water pipes go along the skirting board level also or at a low level to be safely away from socket? I plan to plug the cooker into a socket by the side/next to the cooker. How close can water supply and waste pipe be to socket. Waste pipe will need to go behind cooker to get to an exit point. It is an old washer which requires hot and cold water supply. I will also need to run the washing machine waste pipe behind the cooker also. Can anyone suggest options or do i need to put the washer somewhere else? Any advice greatly appreciated
