Toilet cistern needs attention

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.47 PM

We have a 'push button' flush mechanism on our toilet which has stopped working as a result we are unable to flush the toilet.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As a temporary way to use the toilet, you can always flush it with a bucket of water poured down the pan,it should be quite cheap to replace the flush providing its not tiled in or similar

Have you tried manually pushing the buttons underneath the cistern lid? If this isn't working then, the syphons are relatively cheap. Should take a plumber no more than 1-2 hours
