Roof leak or leak from gutter/fascia

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.18 PM

Seems to be breeding leaks at the moment and I'm not sure if this one needs a roofer or a window person. We've had two fairly wet storms in Norfolk recently. I have a 1980s dormer house which has a large bay at the back with an old wooden window in it. The roof at this part slopes fairly steeply down to a single storey height. The rood of the bay is tiled. Right at the edge of the bay ceiling next to the window a water mark has appeared which is around 1 foot long but only a cm max width. I've had a look at some of the wood above the window frame and is has signs of wear and tear. I'm not sure which trade I need to look at this.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It sounds like you need a well known local roofer to sort this problem.

Yeah it sounds like you need roofer to come out and have a proper look at the problem and give it a proper inspection

It possible it’s the window but more like it is the roof or the top of the bay window but I would need to look at it to be positive
