Are there any recommendations for removing old carpet adhesive?

We are looking to lay tiles but there is old carpet adhesive stuck down, we ideally want to remove this first. What would be the best way to do this?

Hi Francesca. Best way is to scrape it with a scraper, stubborn areas are made easier with steam or soaking with hot water.

Francesca, I have used A product called Ct1 it’s in a spray can, they sell it travis Perkins. If you go in to your local branch they will point you in the right direction. Spray it over the area and leave for about 20min then scrape it off with ease.
Good luck.
