You should be looking for a GS & HETAS registered engineer. This way you can be confident the work will be carried out from a Professional within this industry.

To remove the gas fire the engineer would need to be "Gas Safe accredited" to install a new stove with a liner or connect to an existing clay / pumice flue the engineer also needs HETAS H003.

A fully registered gas safe engineer to remove the fire and cap the existing gas supply away from the builders opening. Then a qualifyed Hetas engineer to fit the stove . Must have the required qualifications to fit flue liner and dry stove installations
