What is this type of draining board called

I have a kitchen sink with draining board. The draining board has little slots which draings the water from my plates into a seperate pipe underneath that then connects to the waste pipe that the kitchen sink drains into. Rather than the normal draining boards that have a grove that runs off into the main bowl. Now my little slots have a filter underneath, i assume to catch sediment, and they are getting blocked. No one seems to be able to tell me what type of drainer this is and where i can get a new filter to fix this issue. Can anyone help?

Hello Felicity. Its sounds to me that you have a inset kitchen sink (i.e the sink and drainer is sat on top of your worktop rather than underneath it) similar to a "Blanco Idessa". You are correct in that this type of sink has 2 wastes..1 for the large bowl an additional waste for the drainer section.
