Superfoil insulation for loft
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.18 PM
Hi I am doing loft insulation and considering superfoil. How are they conpared to traditional mineral wool or fibreglass? Are they easier to lay? Also whats the requirement so traditional mineral wool is 300mm, whats for superfoil?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If using tri-iso super 10 foil insulation this is equivalent to 210mm of mineral insulation, so to achieve building regulation you may need to use a secondary insulation to achieve.30mm rigid board or 100mm mineral.
The foil is a lot quicker to install and a lot more user friendly than the others.
just staple onto rafters/joists
