Overflow pipe leaking - combi boiler

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.40 PM

We got a combi-boiler installed and since then, the overflow pipe seems to leak much more. What can we do ? What does this mean?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It is probably condense pipe or could be blow-off valve needs replacing or re seating as may have a bit of grit/dirt in it. Combi boilers do not have an 'overflow pipe'.

Sounds like pressure relief valve is either faulty or pressure is too high. Alternatively is is just the condense pipe and this is normal but should run to waste !

It more likely to be your pressure relief valve which is either faulty or stuck.

If you are referring to 3/4" white overflow this should be run to drain , not dripping all over the place.
