Slider has failed away from the shower head. How can I connect it back?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.58 PM

Hi There, The slider that moves the shower head up and down and holds the shower head in place has failed out. I cannot find an easy way to put it back. It this something that I can do myself or do I need a Plumber to come out and fix it? Thank you so much.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You do not need a plumber although they could certainly fix or replace it for you. You may need to remove it off the wall to see what has happened to it and it probably needs replacing which is normally only two screws so should be a quick job.

You can buy a new * riser* from a decent local plumbers shop for around £25
