Elliptical arch

I want to build a new elliptical brick arch (or 3 centered arch) over a new build barn doorway but aren’t shure what the rise (height of the arch from springing point) should be for a span of 154inches ? I need to know what is the best height to use before I can make the wooden turning piece.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hell Barn_man OK That is a type of semi circular arch you will need to get a carpenter to make a template to your measurements cheers Pj

Elliptical arch.normally sharper arc at either end with shallow src along main body.rise is entirely personal choice.timber arch former needs to be constructed to carry arch until mortar sets.draw the arch required and builder or joiner can build the centre to suit
