Uneven ceiling solutions?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.40 PM

I need a bit of advice on uneven ceiling. We have an open plan living room/kitchen. One side of the ceiling is approx 2.2m due to installation of beams whilst the other side of ceiling is 2.4metres, and therefore uneven. What is the solution to have even ceiling?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Simple, all you need to do is get a carpenter to build a stud ceiling on the higher side, matching the 2.2M level, get it boarded up, tape joints, re-plaster, done! Simple

Hi if you require a level ceiling a metal or timber frame could be installed to the lowest point and plasterboard level upto the existing 2.2 or overboard the complete ceiling ,metal frame been lighter cheaper and quicker . Plaster complete ceiling. Regards Michael Hurdus
