Pest control in boiler

Recently gas engineer noticed mice droppings when open the boiler control panel.he will not carry out boiler job until this gets sorted by pest control property is very clean thiz droppings may b from past how to get thiz problem sorted as pest controller r not Corby reg. etc.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I agree with you re:problem could be historic.
Ask any kitchen fitter and they will tell you that when the rip out an old kitchen they find historic evidence of mice habitation/visitation.
Would it be possible to just find another gas engineer?
One mybe not so timid and squemish?

Hi there maybe just clean up the evidence in the area and surrounding units where
he will be looking and tell him or her its been sorted ok and if he is the real deal he should come back or just get someone else

Unless he has stated there is evidence of damage caused to the boiler as a result of a rodent infestation then as previously stated choose another Gas Safe engineer!

Hi, I’m professional pest controller and in this case, I would advise to clean up (i.e. vacuum) mouse droppings and check in a few days if there are any new evidence. If there are, call pest control, if not, then most likely it’s historic.
