which glue to use to attach brackets to an old concrete shed>?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.57 PM

y block pre-formed concrete shed is 60 years old, and difficult to drill into. I want to fit a blind to one side, and thought of gluing the metal supports to the concrete. If so, which glue should I use please/

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

HI I will recommend you to stick a piece of wood above window (entire width, and even wider ),the best will be to use a quality silicone GRIPFIll or no nails from evo-stik or sika,,,etc ) .using some waterproof PVA before, on concrete definitely will help. allow to cure 24 hours and fix your blind on the wood.you will get lifetime guaranty for this job , fallowing my procedure . Glue is not ideal but if you do go down that road gorilla glue is good as long as it's not heavy
