Removal of load bearing wall between kitchen and lounge

I am looking to have a load bearing wall removed and am interested to know which trade listed on my builder would be the one to best choose . Plus any tips or things i should be asking my choice will be appreciated

Joiner is the trade you are after, although planning permission is needed as you are altering the stucture and support of the house.

Many Carpentry/builders companies would undertake this, am guessing there is a steel to go in its place, so a small amount of making good would be needed.

Definitely a job for a experienced builder. This is something we do a lot of, the work is fairly straight forward but only if you are experienced in this kind of work!
I always advise my customers to go with the builder they feel most comfortable speaking to, its not all about the price. IF something were to go wrong would you be confident & comfortable enough to approach and raise your concerns? to many people unfortunately go with the cheapest quote even if they are comfortable with them and then are afraid to approach the builder if they need to and this is never good.
Go with your gut & check reviews form more than one source. Ask for previous building control certificates & pictures of this kind of work.
