Type of Paint for interior of log cabin made from bare softwood logs

what type of paint to buy for interior of log cabin (must be type that allows moisture in and out - cabin is bare soft wood logs). Also how many coats. Thank you

If you are wanting to keep the natural wood effect, then i would use and interior water based oil, which would want at least two coats possible three at the very most.

Barrettine log cabin treatment is excellent as long as you haven’t already treated the timber before otherwise you should sand off and remove original coating so that the biocides in the paint can work properly
