Plastering the underside of rsj
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.57 PM
I’ve had some building work done, added 2 rsj one above window one length of the room. Now the one in the ceiling sits on a wall the same width, and I don’t have room to baton it out wider due to a door frame, how can I apply plaster board to the underneath without widening it (for example batons or overhanging the noggins would add width) any advice please. Need to be signed off by building regs Thank you

You can stick the plasterboard on with gripfill. Make sure it’s supported for a while to make sure the adhesive has gone off.
