BEST HARDWEARING PAINT TO USE FOR A RENTAL PROPERTY

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.57 PM

I have a large property to paint which is being rented out: miscoat(?) all done in Leyland - would I be okay sticking to Leyland for topcoats or should I use a Dulux or Crown? I have to buy an awful lot of paint (four storey building consisting of four two-bedroom flats, plus lounge, kitchen. bathroom) - should I be looking to bulk buy online? Any advice please?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It's all depending on what you require. Dulux easy care is exellent for rental properties as it is Wipeable and exellent coverage. Also armstead durable has vastly improved and is a reasonable price. Hope this helps a little.

Without guiding towards any particular brands. The best emulsions around now are the 100%acrylics. They are in essence far tougher than any vinyl matt no matter what those vinyl matts claim to do. The acrylic ive always used are those by zinsser (permawhite, all-coat) And then for the last 3 years valspar v700. Ive noticed lately leyland have joined the party with their hardwearing matt
