What type of enforcement bar should be used?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.39 PM

The wall would be built by hollow concrete block with 12 meter length and 2 meter height? It is between two gardens and is connected to building just from one end. The other end is not connected to any wall, just wooden fence. Also, what about the type of soil? Is it not important to know how the soil or ground condition is under the foundation? Thanks

Hi You can use 10mm High Tensil Rebar for this purpose, make sure you install these bars when laying concrete in foundations. Also make sure position of bars is right for hollow blocks. Regards Wsaeem

Hello , 10-12mm rebar would be fine for this. Lay the hollow blocks out dry so you position the bar correctly in the concrete when you pour the footings for the wall. The end of the wall where the fence is will need a pier built for support
