Are sockets and switches ok behind a fridge freezer?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.18 PM
I have 2 double sockets and a washing machine and dishwasher switch using the same surface trunking. I would now like to move a fridge freezer to that location. Would the heat from the back of the fridge freezer affect the sockets and switches enough to require them to be relocation? thanks

That should be no problem at all. You find lots of fridge/freezers in front of sockets. Whenever you get integrated appliances there is usually the socket behind of at least a cable outlet point so it is quite common.
