Suitability of flooring and finish for stair/hallway and rooms.

Thanks for your question. When installing on stairs, its best to glue down the laminate. The thickness isn't an issue, but its worth getting a wide enough board to cover the riser and step. You also need to think about stair nosing. I would not advice fitting laminate flush with skirting. You can opt to leave a gap which is covered with beading or to remove the skirting board, lay the floor and replace the skirting. I normally advice customers for the second option, and our fitting teams rarely need to redecorate. Hope that helps.
