Who is liable for a damage by work of a neighbour

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.39 PM

If a neighbour has caused damage to his own property and I can prove by date when he removed a lean to near my chain link fence then some years ago, now a panel fence. Is my contractor liable years when erecting the new fence the neighbour is blaming him and myself for negligence.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The neighbour done the work so if he damaged you're property he is liable and for his own property as well
