Converting single storey to double

We're looking at purchasing this house (https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/48356362) which has a single storey extension to the back. Our plan would be to convert this to a double storey as the foundations are in place to support a double. The plan would be to use the extension for a master bedroom with en-suite. Any advice around logistics, potential issues etc. would be great! Thanks

Hi If the foundations will bear the upstairs extension potentially I do not see the problems. Think about proper soundproofing between the storeys especially in en-suite, as well as about effective ventilation in en-suite. regards Chris
