Bathroom wall and floor tiles sizes

I have small bathroom and have been recommended specific tile sizes as follows: 250 x 300 or 600mm and 250 x 500mm tiles. As it's proving difficult to find these exact sizes can I ask would it be possible to go for lets say the 250x 600 and cut them down? What would be standard size of tile for mall bathroom?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi there you cant really cut the tiles down as it would show a cut edge and stand out like a sore thumb . so my advice is to go for the 300 and lay them in the brick work pattern its a very popular design and if your walls aren't that level in the corners it wouldn't show good luck chris ckps
