how many houses would a builder want?and what's the first step?

Ive got builders next door build some houses and it's got me thinking. My bungalow sits in a plot of approx 250ftx70ft. I want to convert the bungalow into two high semi houses and put 4 on the back I've no cash to do it but was thinking I have the two semi's and a percentage of the units being built. How many units would a builder want? And how would I move forward ? thanks nick

Hi nick, have you had an architect look at this to start with, as he will give you an idea of what he thinks you will get on your land,
