Hi there, Sandtex is generally water based, however when it cures it is obviously weather resistant - therefore is best removed immediately after or during painting. Your best bet would be to use White Spirits to attempt to soften the paint and remove with a cloth - if this fails then you could always use a piece of sandpaper very lightly on the tarmac. In terms of PVC - a glass scraper is your best bet, or White Spirits as above. Eamonn @ The Decorating Company.

sandtex is a water based paint and waterproof too.it should be cleaned immediately after the applications. you can use warm water and a clothe to clean the pvc surface with the help of glass scraper. Make sure the surface is wet when you use a glass scraper so it avoids any scratches to the pvc. you can use a 120 or 150 grade sandpaper to remove paint from tarmac but again make sure surface is wet so it wouldn't cause any scratches. I hope it works out for you thanks Haanz paint
