q-lon Seals in and out?

Hi just bought new Windows and asked for q-lon seals and for all to be SBD they have come and they q-lon on the out side normal rubber on the inside also should all the windows be reinforced steel being SBD and would i be able to tell
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, the q ion seal should be both inside and out. Not having it will effect the seal causing heat to escape and a detrimental effect on the accoustic value.
In saying that, you would probably never notice. But I would expect it if Id paid for it.
As for the SBD. SBD is an accreditation so varied options can be used.
