Remove, paint or render pebbledash?

We are in the process of buying a 3 bed semi that is pebble dashed which is not our taste...the p.d. not the house. What are our options? Remove and render? Paint over? Render over?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi there, my advise is to paint over the pebble dash,deppending on your budget,also you can render over it depending on the thickness of the pebble dash,but could work out expensive. I hope this helps many thanks Barry hall & Son Decorators

paint - scrape off loose and flaking paint and prepare the surface pebbledash render - using a small electric breaker/ chipper or hammer and bolster to remove render from walls and prepare as above.
