Leaking shower advice please!!!

This is our second shower fitted now and we have still not resolved the leak. The shower leaks through to the kitchen below and then we can see water marks on our kitchen ceiling. We are wondering if we need flooring to be fitted under the shower as the floor boards may not be even and therefore the seal and silicon keeps splitting and it coninues to leak. Any advice would be greatly received? Thanks in advance.

Does the shower only leak when you use it ? Possible that the waste pipe or trap on the shower is leaking. If the shower tray is raised of the floor take the panel of and have a look with the torch. If it’s a low level tray access can only be really gained from cutting a hole in the ceiling below. Is the silicone around the shower and the grout in the tiles in good condition. Any gaps water get get down.

if the tray is incorrectly fitted,it must be on a solid base or it will keep moving and splitting seal,if its the one on legs it must be sat on a rigid base that does not move,in both cases it will continue to cause problems until the base is sorted out.
