New, continuous water drainage from exterior pipe beneath 1st floor gutters.
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.57 PM
Yesterday we noticed that water is constantly dripping onto the conservatory roof from a short white pipe perpendicular to the underside of the gutter above the 1st floor window at the rear of the house. This is happening in the absence of any rainfall. We're not sure what is causing this or what kind of tradespeople we should call.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

This could either be an overflow pipe from a water storage tank in the loft ( I presume you have a loft ?) which means the ballcock is passing by so needs changing or you have a boiler fitted in your loft which is a condensing boiler so has to have an overflow fitted so the plumber has to fit it to a form of drainage but as its falling on your roof I'm guessing its a cold water storage tank in the loft.

Well if it's only dripping when rainfall can't be comeing from any over flow pipes or central heating ect water tanks, try could be gutter joins or your over flow pipe needs joining to a down spout.
