Base preparations for laying outdoor porcelain tiles...

Looking for some advise on the best way to prep a patio for outdoor porcelain tiles... is a flat concrete base the best way, and then lay the tiles with adhesive...or can they be laid on a sand base? Thanks

You will need a good solid hardcore base to prevent movement and use cement based adhesive.

a concrete base would be the better option for porcelain and an outdoor adhesive
