Imersion heater/hot water tank

Can some one tell me exactly what trade doe's the instalation of an imersion tank come under? is it electical/plumbing/heating as there is no sub catagory for it.

It comes under Plumbing for the immersion heater if replacement is being done. If it’s new and there is no dedicated switch fuse spur for power to it, then that part fitting the fused spur would require a qualified electrician. Watch out for the cowboy who claims he can do it all, you you need to be at least part P qualified to run a new circuit supply. Hope this answers your question Gareth GR Plumbing
