What kind of tile?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.37 PM
Hello, on my spare roof tiles it says Redland Grovebury but the roofer fixing my roof says that I need Pentland. He insists that they aren't made any more and that he has got to wait for the supplier to source them (?) I started to look for them myself as he takes ages. Anyway I found some redland grovebury which look very similar to what I see on my roof (if not identical) but none Pentland kind! What kind should I be looking for? Many thanks, Flora

Redland Grovebury are the Double Pantile's. As for Pentland??? I have never heard of these tiles personally, don't think it is even a tile make to be quite honest.
If your tiles on your roof have a wave style lip (2 of them for double pantiles) then these are most likely your tile needed Redland Grovebury.
Without seeing your roof myself I cannot 100% tell you. As you said also, if the one you have in your hand is the same as on your roof, then that's your tile.
