Are stones from an old stone garden wall worth anything?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.16 PM
I have an old stone garden wall which is on the brink of collapse, which I'm thinking of replacing with a wooden fence rather than having it rebuilt. I would need someone to clear away the stones, and I was wondering if stones like these have any value. I realise it may depend on the quality/condition of the stones, however, I don't want to pay someone to remove the stones only to find out the stones have value and I could have had them removed for free! Any advice on what would be the normal procedure in this situation? Many thanks!
