Bathroom sand and cement render - waterproof?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.37 PM

Hi, I am rendering the bathroom wall with sand and cement The wall is uneven so we opted not to use plasterboards and use the sand and cement render instead Do I need any waterproofing agent or additive to the mix to make sure it is waterproof?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
