Move an SVP and shower waste

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.17 PM

I have a ground floor bathroom with a solid concrete floor and solid brick external walls at the back of my outrigger and I’d like to convert it to a shower room and rearrange the layout. There is a drain directly outside in my yard and the yard has a concrete floor throughout. How difficult is it to move the waste from the toilet, shower and sink and connect into the drain? Thanks

Without seeing the job itself it is hard to comment on the best possible solution, It depends also on the finish, I'd personally say (if i understand correctly) could either core drill throungh wall and have the outlet coming through wall above DPC and then Install new line to chamber. The pipework would come out of wall and on a 90 degree bend down onto new line. Or, Take up section of floor internally, core drill a hole below DPC and connect to your new line to chamber.
