Structure of Soffits on Terrace Property

Are the Soffits on a Terrace Property sectioned off for each Property? or is the run on a block of 4 property's straight through all property's? I have posted a job to have my soffit sectioned off from the other property's. I don't know if this can be done or if this is a valid job. Doreen

Hi doreen,
On a block off four terrace propertys they did have a open void all through, but over the years each property blocked there own void off ie fire hazard,
so we fitted roof \slate vents in , to ventilate loft area ect for ventilation to roof void /roof timbers.
