Toilet won’t flush properly - lower than waste outlet

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.56 PM

Just had my bathroom tiled and discovered toilet was sat on a plinth. Tiler brought this down to floor level for us with the aid of a flexi waste hose however now we have to flush 4-5 times to get a bit of toilet paper to go down. Obviously due to toilet being lower than waste pipe outlet. Is there a cost effective solution please? Is it simple enough lowering the outlet?

yes you will have to raise toilet cheapest option or lower connection to soil stack.
