You most certainly do not ask questions like this on a public forum unless you are a Gas Safe engineer, which clearly you are not! Do yourself and possibly your neighbours a favour by asking a qualified Gas Safe engineer to attend and advise or you could phone Gas Safe and see what kind of response you get when you ask the same question!
