Ask a questionKitchen Fitting
Moving gas cooker
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.37 PM
I am having a new kitchen fitted but I cannot leave the gas cooker near the window (regulations) so has to go over the other side of the kitchen. This means creating a new gas pipe and adding electrical socket for the cooker and hood. Can it be possible to attach new gas pipe to the meter in the dining room through the wall in the understairs cupboard and through the wall into the kitchen (approx 2-3m). The socket just needs to be 13amp as it's only for light and ignition. Does this have to go in the wall?.
