Painting over sample swatches!
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.16 PM
Hi guys, I decided to decorate the spare room and was having trouble deciding on the colour. I poorly painted a dark blue sample (2 coats) on a cream wall, which has dried patchy due to my lack of care whilst painting the sample! It's quite a large area where some sections are light and others dark. How can I cover this poor attempt before painting the whole wall the chosen colour?!!! Any help would be appreciated as the paint I have selected is quite expensive and I don't want to waste it by applying extra coats to rid the sample paint underneath.. I have read that applying a primer would help but I'm not sure how accurate this is.. thanks in advance!
