removing marble with adhesive from counter

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.16 PM

We have some large marble tiles fitted as a countertop in part our kitchen with tile adhesive. Is there a way of removing them without damaging the kitchen units. Don't mind if the marble breaks. Just seeking advice on how to go about this, what the risks are and how difficult it would be to achieve. With deep gratitude

Hi Depending on the marble and the adhesive used it shouldn't be too much of a problem as most marble tiles are quite soft A cold chisel, old wood chisel and a hammer should suffice Once you have broken a portion out just keep carefully chipping away, take your time and you should be ok GW.
