Builder refuses to give me his insurance details

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.16 PM

Hey, I have got work carried out by a builder, but it turned out to be really bad job: the plumber he hired was bad, leaks everywhere, damaged floor boards, live wires and structural work that building control said was dangerous The builder has insurance (PI), but refuses to come back to fix the issues and also refuses to give me their insurance details Can you please give me advise as to how I can force him to give me his PI insurance details? I know which company it is, but they won't speak to me, as the claim needs to be made by the builder

Get a solicitor to send him a letter, and go to trading standards in the meanwhile.
