Closing Channel needs for Simpson Design Sliding shower enclosure?

Quick question, having a new shower installed. Suppliers said don't need a closing channel for Simpson Design Sliding door as the tiles the door closes to are smooth, but they do have grout between them. Would you always recommend a closing channel as it is an optional extra with the kit? Cheers, Richard

hey Richard, I fitted one just last week to tiles but the shower was at the other end of a 1200 x 700 shower with no issues at all so id say it depend on the size of the shower and the angle the head is fixxed at, in other words trial an error, switch it on and have a good spray about like theres a party going on in there and takea look for any water on ther outer wall.
