Levelling Floor after removal of brick TV Unit

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.56 PM

I removed a brick TV unit from the living room of my house which has left a channel in the floor where the bricks sat, would you use a normal cement mix to bring it back up to the correct level or self levelling?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, i would recommend to pva the sub structure followed by a sand and cement mix to make up the mass and finish with a self level screed. Allow each process to dry before applying the next.

If it's a small area, then sand and cement as per Oakwood above.
