Damp on corner of wall and ceiling in small bedroom

My son's bedroom has a damp patch on corner if ceiling near bedroom. We have had roof tiles replaced outside but wet/damp patch still appearing but not as bad as before.Advised may possibly need to open up an old air vent and install vents in window. Would this be enough or do we also need to do anything else. Can I also add that the radiator is not understand the window but on a different wall.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The roof insulation was haning in guttering acting like sponge. .
From what you say of ventilation
Being blocked of.open or close vent as like window.
All public seem to close of ventilation. Not wise. .
Make your choice. .ok

It could be a issue with your guttering and fascia. Was the roof felt changed when you had work done?
