What screws for shelf

I've got a shelf that needs fitting to bedroom wall. The wall is the adjoining wall between two bedrooms.it doesent sound like a hollow wall. What screws should I use? The shelf is one where you fit the screws to the wall and then the shelf drops onto the screws. It'll be used to hold baby books mainly

You ned to use pan head screws not countersunk, use a screw size that fits perfectly into the keyhole shaped location slot on the shelf, use rawl plugs to suit the size of the screw used dont over tighten the screws test fit shelf if need be remove and adjust screws until snug fit is achieved

Pan head and raw plugs, also 5.5mm masonry bit if needed -HBB Maintenance
