Replacement Element in Ikea Framtid Oven

Hi, my ikea bottom oven is tripping out the electrics when switched on. Ive been advised to replace the element. How do i know if its the rear fan element or the base element please?

Without any cast iron proof which element it is, I would get an appliance engineer in to do it. Or change both.

Hi
It’s most likely the fan element that’s gone it’s rare that a base element goes
With the oven cold turn it on and put hand on base ( I’m assuming the element is covered )you will feel the base slowly warm up if it does thats ok
Do the same with the fan element turn it on and after a few seconds you will feel it blowing cold air if it blows warm the element is ok
DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS ON OR NEAR BARE ELEMENTS

Both elements need to be tested. So its a strip down of the oven and then test each element.
