Asbestos soil pipe is cracked and also as a hole in it what can be done

Replace it with plastic, it will only get worse, it’s had it’s day

You can fix it temporarily by tightly wrapping denso/self amalgamating tape around the area or you could get a licensed contractor in to provide a quote to dispose of it then replace with plastic

You would need an asbestos team in to test it, if you remove it yourself it can be dangerous, if it breaks it will release the fibres which are the dangerous part, get the professionals in. It may cost abit but worth it. If you do want to remove it yourself then keep it wet be careful not to break it too much and double bag it in see through bags and tape them shut then get them to remove it, hope this helps

Seek the appropriate health and safety guildines in regards to asbestos. Can be very harming and dangerous if not dealt with in a way that aligns with the health and safety act
