I need advice either should go for Combi boiler or system boiler

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.37 PM

We are extending our house. We will have 4 bathrooms in the house, but we are only 3 members in the family. Not sure Which system we should go for it. Combi or system / conventional boiler. I was thinking Combi boiler but my friends advising that pressure Will be lower if 2 showers been used at the same time. Professional advice Will be appreciated.

you will end up disappointed if you go for combi, even the bigger combis will struggle to serve 4 bathrooms and a kitchen, but its mainly about water service ,pressure and volume, you will have to check it for both, but check it at peak usage times ie 6am to 9am/ 4pm to 9pm,even if you go for a system boiler and unvented cylinder the same applies ( pressure and volume).you could contact your water provider regarding a bigger incoming main.
